Buzzy® Do-Right

MMJ Labs was founded so we could run a business the way we wished the world would. Our goals are to listen to our community, advocate for empowerment over pain and fear, and make our business as ethical as possible: for the planet, the country, our community, and our employees. We source community talent, like Red Rocket Farm. In addition to making products that help people with pain, we’re also proud of:

Atlanta 2-Day Walk for Breast Cancer

Buzzy Do-Right

MMJ Labs/VibraCool was proud to be a sponsor of the Atlanta 2-Day Walk for Breast Cancer. In 13 years, the Atlanta 2-Day Walk for Breast Cancer has raised $12 million to fund 271 grants that provide breast cancer education, screening, early detection, support services, and continuing care for Georgians.

HealthWell Foundation Partnership

Buzzy Do-Right

In 2014 we are thrilled to announce our partnership with the HealthWell Foundation, a non-profit organization that helps adults and children facing medical emergencies pay for life-changing treatments they otherwise wouldn’t be able to afford. During Shark Tank, $5 from each Shark Tank Special sold helps HealthWell’s mission. By Summer 2014, HealthWell hopes to help families who can’t afford Buzzies get access! dLife Partnership

Buzzy Do-Right

In December 2014, we are so pleased and excited to announce our New Partnership with dLife, the website that was created to support the need for knowledge and practical solutions for people living with diabetes and caregivers. dLife provides a healthier life by inspiring, providing knowledge, and building a community for millions of diabetic patients, consumers, and caregivers. Their motto is “dLife is all about diabetes in real life”. What better company to partner with than a company that values the same things we do- Knowledge and making lives better! Life has multiple media outlets, including, dLife mobile applications, and dLife TV. is the #1 Independent website serving the diabetic community. They engage their site visitors with food ideas, community, dLife videos and two weekly Newsletters. We look forward to our partnership with dLife and jointly helping patients with diabetes. Buzzy will continue to serve the diabetic community by providing content to help patients with needle pain.

Pain Management Child Life Donations

$1 from each Buzzy bought on our website is donated to a cause in line with our values! With our launch in 2009, we donated to the Child Life Council. In 2012 we donated 10% of our profits, in addition to Dr. Baxter’s invited 3-hour intensive on needle pain management research at the 30th national conference. Since then, each Buzzy Babe has been able to support a charity of her choice.

Buzzy Babe Charity of Choice

In 2013, we donated money for team members to charities that mattered to them. A team member chose the Trevor Project; Amy chose to honor her grandfather and our soldiers with science fiction through Heinleins for Heroes; Val chose the Wounded Warrior Project; more TBA!

Supporting Good Alliances!

Buzzy Do-Right

Chemo Beanies is a product made by a family with two breast cancer survivors. Buzzy can’t wait to style his own, “Taking the Burden out of Baldness”. Until we can show Buzzy with a Beanie, we’re just glad this amazing group of women came together to make the emotional journey of chemotherapy easier to bear. Also proud to be co-recipients of the Mission Main Street grant with these powerhouses of fashion!

Platelet Disorder Support Association

After loyal Buzzy users recommended Buzzy in their newsletter, the PDSA contacted us with a great idea: make a club for kids with frequent pokes. We applied our expertise in pain managment and non-pharmacological empowerment research, and the partnership is creating a program that could help any patient requiring frequent needle procedures, needle-phobic or not. We’re donating thousands of dollars of Buzzies and bling to get the pilot rolling! Most importantly, the program will be researched to fine tune it and learn more about reducing the impact of frequent procedures.

Community Support

Buzzy is proud to support bug related educational endeavors in our community, including the famous IBug Robotics team, and of course the Mary Lin Elementary Spelling Bee. Get it?

LeBonheur Hospital Fundraiser and Mother/Daughter Tea

Buzzy Do-Right

For a fundraiser for Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital, mothers and daughters decorated 100 Customizable My Buzzy’s prior to donating them to the phlebotomy unit. They were inspired by a family with a child in the heart program. WOW!!! Great idea! We’re inspired here, and hope the kazoos we donated weren’t too obnoxious!

Fundraising Support

We’ve donated Buzzies for Camp Kudzu Diabetes Camp, “To Educate, Empower, and Inspire Children Living with Diabetes” (also a tag line we like), Child Life conferences, juvenile arthritis conferences, medical conferences, and too many school auctions to count. Currently, we’re supporting non-profits in our communities with a donate-back program: We make a code for the charity to post on their website or newsletter, and for each person purchasing a Buzzy with the code we donate $5 back to the charity. Since Buzzy’s inspiration is a kid with tree nut allergies, we inaugurated the Buzzy gives Back program with Kids With Food Allergies. For information on how to participate, email .

Buzzies for an Eagle Scout Project

Buzzy Do-Right

Seth is the big brother of someone who uses Buzzy for JRA, and he had the idea to package up pain management kits as his Eagle project! There’s big support in the Hive for the Boy Scouts: Dr. Amy’s husband was Order of the Arrow, Eagle Scout, and is an assistant scout master for our middle child. The concept of combing charity, Buzzy, and Scouting was fabulous!
